"Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing!"

In the midst of troubled times and dissipating hopes, the prophet Isaiah delivered a message of Hope to the nation of Israel concerning their return from exile. He was standing prophetically at the crossroads of Israel's history: looking at the past, and more importantly into the future. Isaiah's main point: that God is doing a 'new thing' in our midst! That was our theme for our all-staff retreat in November last year. Indeed, as we stepped into 2012, we are entering a very significant milestone in our organizational timeline.

Now this I know: The LORD gives victory to his anointed. He answers him from his heavenly sanctuary with the victorious power of his right hand. Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God. They are brought to their knees and fall, but we rise up and stand firm. LORD, give victory to the king! Answer us when we call! (Psalm 20:6-9).

When I (Richard) first joined the GTO team, one of my desires was to help resource the needs of our ministries in Africa. This year, the Lord is making that dream a reality: I will be visiting Cameroon in April to conduct two training seminars for several of our French-speaking national ministries: one on Leading with Information and the use of GMA, and another on ministry communication using the GCX tool. -- Richard & Perlin's The shape of things to come | thelimfamily.org

Amos and several others in our team have, over the course of this year, gotten themselves certified with various organisations to teach and conduct life skills seminars for both students and working professionals.
