IED@SG was first launched in 2009, Sunday 26 April, with the theme "Engaging Our Digital World". This saw the participation of leaders and enthusiasts from many different church groups and media ministries.
For IED@SG 2010, we've planned a series of exciting activities around the theme "Virtual Platforms... Real People" for the entire last week of April, so come join the fun and get your church group participating too!

About Internet Evangelism Day
Internet Evangelism Day (IED) is an international online movement that aims to activate churches and Christians about:
- What God is doing on the Web
- Outreach strategies that work online
- How you, your church or Christian group can use the Web for outreach – and how to make effective church websites reach into the community
- Planning an Internet Evangelism focus day for your church, Bible college or Christian group
Here in Singapore we resonate with the need to raise awareness about the need and opportunities for extending Christian witness and ministry in new media spaces. In tandem with the IED we aim to:
- Create awareness & vision for online witness
- Share local tools and avenues for personal action
- Connect and encourage local believers/organizations active in this space
